I CONSIDER MYSELF NEW TO VEGETARIANISM (THATS A TERM RIGHT?). I GREW UP IN THE SOUTH, AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED EATING MEAT, IT WAS STANDARD. I GUESS I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT WHERE IT CAME FROM.
I'M NOT SURE WHAT INSPIRED US, BUT ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO, KYLE AND I WATCHED ABOUT 4 FOOD DOCUMENTARIES IN 1 WEEK....THAT WAS IT, MY IGNORANCE WAS GONE. WE SAID WE WOULD FINISH THE MEAT PRODUCTS IN OUR FRIDGE (IN RESPECT OF THE ANIMALS) BUT WE WOULD BUY NO MORE.
THIS ARTICLE IS RAD! IT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE. SINCE HAVING MY EYES OPENED, I HAVE THOUGHT THAT ANIMALS HAVE FEELINGS, THEY FEEL SADNESS, PAIN, JOY, AND MANY MORE OF THE SAME EMOTIONS THAT I FEEL.
I WANT TO SAY THANKYOU TO ALL THE SCIENTIST THAT MADE "THE CAMBRIDGE DECLARATION ON CONSCIOUSNESS".
